RINO® Museum

LAUNCH OF THE RINO® MUSEUM – The Heritage of Convoi Exceptionnel
The RINO® Museum is part of Nooteboom Trading BV in Zeewolde.

Since taking its first steps into the world of specialised transport in 2008, Nooteboom Trading has become a household name; every haulier knows the name Nooteboom. Not everyone is yet aware, however, that here at Nooteboom Trading in Zeewolde, we have also been working for years to assemble a collection with a view to establishing a museum.

Over the years, Igmar Nooteboom, founder and owner/director of Nooteboom Trading, together with his father, the well-known Dick Nooteboom, has acquired a number of unique vintage vehicles from the ‘convoi exceptionnel’.

A small proportion of these vehicles are already housed in the current museum shed at the Nooteboom Trading/RINO® Trailers site in Zeewolde; other vehicles are currently stored elsewhere but will also be moved to the Werktuigweg in Zeewolde once the new building, scheduled for completion in 2027, is finished.

Those who have visited us before may already have had a chance to take a look at this part of our collection, and the feedback was so positive that we have decided to launch our museum digitally in the meantime.

The year 2026 will go down in history as the year the RINO® MUSEUM, The Heritage of Convoi Exceptionnel, was founded. ‘The Heritage’ is the theme of our collection; we have vehicles from 1956, 1977, from somewhere in between, and from later years.

We are incredibly proud of our collection, which has already expanded considerably and will certainly continue to grow.

A selection from the collection:

A 1956 Foden S18 6×4
A 1978 Nooteboom Adban-96
A 1964 DAF A1600DD 360 with Nooteboom scissor tipper
A 1977 FTF F8.28D
A 1989 MACK DM897SX 23
And many, many more.

On the website of the RINO® MUSEUM – The Heritage of Convoi Exceptionnel – you can already take a virtual tour of our unique vehicles. Keep a close eye on our website and social media channels, because who knows – we might organise an open day in the future. You’ll of course be very welcome to come and admire our special collection in person!

Enjoy browsing, and let’s say “See you then!”…
